A törvény könyve I/33-40

33. Then the priest fell into a deep trance or swoon, & said unto the Queen of Heaven; Write unto us the ordeals; write unto us the rituals; write unto us the law!
33. Ekkor a pap mély, ájult transzba esett és így szólt a menny királynőjéhez; Írd le nekünk a próbákat, írd le nekünk a rituálékat, írd le nekünk a törvényt!

34. But she said: the ordeals I write not: the rituals shall be half known and half concealed: the Law is for all.
34. De Ő így szólt: A próbákat nem írom le. A rituálék legyenek félig ismertek és félig titkosak. A Törvény mindenkié.

35. This that thou writest is the threefold book of Law.
35. Ez, mit írsz lesz a háromszoros Törvény könyve.

36. My scribe Ankh-af-na-khonsu, the priest of the princes, shall not in one letter change this book; but lest there be folly, he shall comment thereupon by the wisdom of Ra-Hoor-Khuit.
36. Írnokom Ankh-af-na-khonsu, a hercegek papja, eme könyvnek egyetlen betűjét se változtassa meg, de, hogy ne szülessen belőle ostobaság, fűzzön hozzá kommentárt Ra-Hoor-Khuit bölcsességével megtámogatván.

37. Also the mantras and spells; the obeah and the wanga; the work of the wand and the work of the sword; these he shall learn and teach.
37.Szintén a mantrákat és a varázslatokat, az obeah és a wanga, a pálca munkáját és a kard munkáját, ezeket kell tanulnia és tanítania.

38. He must teach; but he may make severe the ordeals.
38. Tanítania kell, de a próbákat szigorítania kell.

39. The word of the Law is THELEMA.
39. A Törvény szava THELEMA.

40. Who calls us Thelemites will do no wrong, if he look but close into the word. For there are therein Three Grades, the Hermit, and the Lover, and the man of Earth. Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
 40. Nem tesz rosszat az aki Thelemitáknak szólít minket, ha közelről vizsgálja a szót. Mert abban három fokozat van. A Remete, a Szerető és a Föld embere. Tedd amit akarsz lészen a törvény egésze.
